The Codebreakers Challenge

Become an industry sleuth and win big! The Codebreaker Challenge runs throughout the entire day during designated Expo and Happy Hour hours. Grab your event passport and visit all 20 exhibitors to collect hidden clues. Crack the code, solve the secret phrase, and submit your completed passport for a chance to win an exclusive grand prize designated just for our top codebreaker!

WIN BIG! Correct answers will be entered into a drawing for the GRAND PRIZE – a Milwaukee Toolbox! Drawing will occur and winner will be announced at the end of the Happy Hour, approximately 4:45 p.m.

Lunch Hour Prizes

Get ready to mix, mingle, and mini golf! We’re setting up a mini-golf course at the venue! Grab a beverage, test your skills on the greens, and enjoy a little friendly competition throughout the afternoon. No experience required – just pick up a putter and play!

Giant Jenga Trivia Challenge

How high can you build the stack while testing your industry knowledge? Try your luck at the Giant Jenga station to play a round with a twist. Successfully pull and place a block, and you'll earn a chance to answer a damage prevention or industry trivia question. Each correct answer scores you an entry into our prize drawing. The more blocks you move, the more chances you have to win!

“What’s Below?” Mystery Box Challenge

Think you know what’s underground? Put your sense of touch to the test! Reach into the mystery box and identify hidden utility-related objects using only your hands – no peeking! From pipes and conduit to utility markers and other underground infrastructure items, each object represents something that could be buried below the surface. The more correct answers, the more chances you are entered to win in the prize drawings! Test your skills, learn something new, and see if you can uncover the mystery!

Precision Excavation & Truck Race Challenge

Ready to put your skills to the test? Take the controls of a remote-controlled excavator or construction truck and navigate a miniature worksite designed to challenge your precision, patience, and control. Complete excavation tasks, maneuver through obstacles, and race to the finish while demonstrating the careful techniques that help protect underground utilities. This interactive challenge highlights an important message: Safe digging isn’t about speed – it’s about precision, planning, and knowing what’s below before you dig. Successfully complete the challenge to be entered to win prizes, and bragging rights as one of Colorado 811’s top operators!
