CO811 Employee Spotlight: Caitlin Carr

How did you get started working at Colorado 811?
Colorado 811 was referred to me by a staffing agency (who actually found me). I had an interview with the 811 and lead me to fall in love with them. I’m here 4 years later teaching agents everything I know and have experienced!

What is your favorite part about your role in damage prevention?
I would have to say my favorite part is being able to educate the new agents on our processes to help them ensure that excavators can dig safely at each job!

What interests do you have outside of work?
I have many interests outside of work! Well I have a three-year-old son that makes me laugh every single day, otherwise hanging out with friends and family, play games (card or board), I recently started playing virtual reality on the PlayStation 4.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
I recently traveled by airplane for the first time at the age of 27 and since then I have wanted to do nothing but travel by plane.
