Event Location: La Plata County Fairgrounds

Colorado 811 will be conducting a FREE Pipeline Response class and Mock Line Strike demonstration. The purpose is to educate excavators, contractors, public officials and emergency responders about pipeline safety and awareness.

The Mock Line Strike features a simulated natural gas release caused by unsafe digging practices. Attendees will witness response procedures as local emergency responders and utility operators work in a unified command to resolve the situation.

This is a free event hosted by Colorado 811.
