Sanatam hails from one of Colorado 811’s very own member facility owners, Palisade Irrigation District. During his four years with the Irrigation District, he was involved in almost every aspect of running the district, including operations, maintenance, improvement projects, raising construction standards, excavating, locating, metal fabricating, mapping, SCADA, documentation and a variety of office work. After working with Colorado 811 for many years and receiving the 2014 Unsung Hero Award, Sanatam jumped on the opportunity to work for a member-driven organization.

In Sanatam’s free time he enjoys a multitude of outdoor activates that Colorado has to offer, including rock climbing, ice climbing, skiing, hiking and biking.

They give safety presentations (Safe Digging Practices, Understanding the Law, Best Practices and more), Web Ticket Entry classes, speak at Toolbox Talks, and they attend community events to raise awareness of 811 and safe digging. Contact your local Damage Prevention Liaison if you are in need of any of these free services.
