
Imagine a high school scholarship that impacts every applicant’s future. How is this possible – the Call 811 b4u Dig Scholarship. Just as 811 is for everyone this scholarship is open to anyone. The application has three simple steps.
Step 1: The student provides basic contact information and what current plans are after high school.
Step 2: The student is pointed towards this link and this link to do some research.
Step 3: The student expresses what 811 means to them through an essay or a poem or a work of art, no limits. Lastly there is a optional checkbox at the bottom of the application that says, “Please contact me, I am interested in learning about the available career opportunities in the underground facilities industry.”
One student will receive some financial assistance while other students will discover a career in the underground utility industry that they hadn’t considered, and all applicants will be introduced to 811 and that is exactly what the Call 811 b4u Dig Scholarship is all about.
This scholarship opportunity is being offered by Pitkin-Eagle-Garfield Damage Prevention Council a Glenwood Springs, CO based 501(c)3 charity.
This scholarship is only open to Glenwood Springs High School (GSHS) students. The application deadline is February 12, 2020
